Colloidal Nanoparticles
Noble metal nanoparticles present unique chemical and physical properties compared to solid bulk materials. Their large surface-area-to-volume ratio and their special electronic properties make them of special interest for being applied in analytical testing, biological and chemical threat detection, catalysis, imaging, diagnostics, biotechnology and biomedical sensing, or even drug discovery, among others.
Desired material structure, size and shape need to be built up depending on the application to be faced. Our expertise in colloidal synthesis allows us to offer homogeneous nanostructures of different sizes. We are deeply specialized on nanoparticles of 50 and 70 nm, highly recommended for optical applications based on SERS spectroscopy.
