The Renishaw RA816 Biological Analyser is a compact benchtop Raman imaging system. The system combines Renishaw LiveTrack™ and StreamLine™ technologies to generate chemical images up to 150 times faster than conventional methods, without losing focus, ensuring high-quality images.
With a minimal sample preparation, the system can analyze multiple solid compunds, including pharmaceutical tablets or bilogical tissues.

Software:
Renishaw’s Windows-based Raman Environment (WiRE 5.4) is the software developed by Renishaw plc. to control the acquisition of spectral data and to provide users with data processing and analysis tools. Among others, WiRE allows to automatically remove cosmic rays and subtract baselines from all spectra in a hyperspectral map. It can be used to identify different materials when searched against a spectral library, calculate concentrations, or perform particle statistics.
